DescriptionThese solid paste ceramic figures are part of a figurine tradition common to preclassic sites. The heads are usually concave, the torso and appendages flat and the buttocks protrubent. Commonly referred to as "gingerbread" figures, they show a considerable variety of attitudes and activities often depicting musicians, hunchbacks, warriors and acrobats.
