DescriptionA grinning female figure is depicted squatting on a ceremonial bench which is often mistaken for a metate or grinding stone. A feline head is positioned at either end of the seat. Fretwork panels serve as legs for the bench. Luna ware was a type of polychrome ceramic produced in large quantities for trade during Period VI.- Art of the Ancient Americas
