DescriptionA watercolor image is painted on Clayboard panel; powdered graphite is hand-rubbed over the entire support, obscuring the image. A layer of Dorland's cold wax medium thinned with turpentine is applied. The image is excavated with various tools and turpentine. (notes from Robert Sindelir, the artists's husband, 12/2018)
