DescriptionTechnically very interesting, this large huipil from San Pedro Necta was woven sideways, but is meant to be worn as displayed. Natural brown cotton is interspersed with white and red to form the body of the blouse, and decoration is added in supplementary weft brocading. The neckline and arm holes are carefully wrapped in yellow and blue cotton thread.
