    DescriptionDaguerreotype of a man, possibly Charles Edmunds, who was the Michigan Land Commissioner from 1871-1872, in a leather case. The inside lid of the case has an embossed gold velvet lining cushion with floral design. The front and back covers of the case have a molded floral design.
