    DescriptionThis is an homage to Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968), the controversial French artist who founded the Dada (hobbyhorse in French) movement in New York during World War I, and who was still working in New York in the sixties. As the artist who pioneered the use of the Readymade or found object in art, Duchamp profoundly influenced the work of many Pop artists.
