DescriptionEach natural raffia panel was embroidered with undyed raffia thread and, when assembled, the entire cloth was dyed red. All designs are visualized in the mind, not sketched or pre-planned. The occasional small appliquéd patch may cover a hole made from pounding the cloth in the softening process.
