    DescriptionThis fragment of a human head was likely made to adorn the exterior of a large incense burner or effigy vessel. A depiction of facial tattooing or scarification can be seen on the right side of the face, as well as facial painting on the left A distinctive pigment known as Maya Blue adorns the headdress.
