DescriptionThe base of this mummy bundle is formed from a plain weave cotton bag upon which copper eyes, nose, mouth, and chin elements are sewn. An ornate gold and red sash with tassels frames and adorns the face assembly. The face was once painted; the central nose and mouth are dark brown, while the eyes and forehead are beige. The eye assembly uses long black, possibly human hair.
